Why not start your day with a friendly English lesson?
Intermediate ESL provides a safe place to learn about that crazy language
known as English. We will listen, speak, read and write about living
in the United States. We will learn new words, review the rules of
grammar, and prepare for CASAS tests.
This practical course will help you ask better questions – and
give better answers in English. We will talk, listen, and share our
ideas with people from all over the world. We will read short articles
about living in the United States. We will write short sentences about
our lives. We will learn many new and practical words to use at work,
home, on the bus, and at the shopping mall.
We will go slow, but we must keep moving forward. We will carefully
review past lessons, make new “good mistakes”, and learn
from our good mistakes. Quizzes and tests will help us measure our
progress from week to week, and month to month.
All students are expected to participate in conversation activities
and group discussions. Homework is strongly encouraged.
